    I guess people forget that it was McGirt came up with the strategy that was very successful for the first eight rounds? Everyone predicted Macklin would come out with wild relentless pressure from R1, but no... instead he was intelligent, feinted, countered and made it very awkward for Martinez.

    As for R12, Macklin was saved from a humiliating and brutal KO in front of thousands of Irish fans.

      Exactly. Give McGirt credit for that.

      People complain about Robert Garcia letting Margarito fight on against Pacquiao. Now here they are complaining about a guy who stopped his fighter from taking any more unnecessary punishment. Make up your damn minds already.
