Third Lou and his camp has been saying that Martinez is a WW that fight at MW, well if he is a blown up WW fight Manny at 147!

Martinez says Pirog aint a big name for hi to fight him, and who the **** knows who Martinez is? He is a unknown for Pac, Money and Cotto to fight him!

I feel as if Martinez is getting the short end of the stick on his exposure as well as positive press. Leading up to the fight all focus was on macklin, and before the training camps all the sound bites of Martinez was basically him complaining about Chavez. His promote team has done jack all to raise interest in his fights as well as persona. Yeah, he's had beef with hbo and others, but his team runs no damage control whatsoever. I feel that Martinez has the potential to get his big fights and appeal to the masses, but is held back by his promo team. He needs to be heard doing positive things and not just in sound bytes.

And the criticism about him needing to move up is garbage. He still puts on entertaining fights and by no means does he dominate. If he did, then i too would say to move up in weight. But even if he was dominating he doesn't need to move in weight, after all nobody called for PongWong to move out of his weight division and people basically suck him off for being a great boxer.

Pong, wasnt calling Ivan Calderon and then b*tch about people wanting him to fight Cazarez or Darchinyan at 115!!! Thats the diference!

I think Martinez fighting Chavez Jr at 160 is a great fight for boxing fans.It would be a huge test for Chavez Jr. Martinez has been beating some pretty good fighters P will, Pavlik and has been beating ranked opponents knocking these guys out. I mean nobody in that division is fighting those ranked opponents big risk little reward at least he's man enough to fight them what else is he suppose to do. He's been around for a long time it's about time people know who is and for him to get paid. He has done everything you ask for a fighter to do in the ring and outside the ring. Sergio vs Mayweather at 154 would also be a great fight for boxing fans if the Pac vs May fight can't be made.

and you constantly bringing up the 30 day weigh in. pac weighed 153 a week before the mosley fight. dibella said martinez was 154 during fight week.

no lou and his camp have said he's a 154 lber. check any footage of last night's post fight interviews, boxingscene has some up so you can check there. the man who said martinez is a blown up WW was his assistant trainer, not lou dibella so quit making up lies like your possible alt mushsadeen and whoever else keeps bringing that up. he's not his promoter or nutrionist i doubt he really knows martinez's body to the point. be worried about what comes out martinez's mouth and not other people. like bob arum or whoever saying manny is scared of needles and needs to heal for 6 months to let a cut heal.
