Martinez weighs in at 156-157 for MW so unless Andre ward comes down to 160 maybe 162 I have no interest in that fight. Sergio is willing to go to 150 to fight Floyd or PAC who have already fought there

besides they both won titles @ 154 and Martinez was willing to go down to 150.
Exactly. If Ward offered the fight at 160, it would be comparable.

"Good win by Martinez. Did what he had to do. I'm ready!!!"

Sergio would rather fight Euro-bums and call out inexperienced fighters or smaller guys. why dont he step up to a real challenge like true champs do? Ward will be waiting for him. and we'll see whos truly #3. for the guys complaining saying hes too small, u are the same people that are begging for a floyd fight. serge is 2 div. above floyd. ward is 1 div. above sergio. whats the problem?

        make it happen!!

Sergio needs to top calling out welterweights and fight middleweights

Ward is a poosie. He would rather fight with a much, much smaller Martinez who is small at MW than fight Bute who ask him to fight and he said he wanted to spend time with his family. He weighs iin at almost 180 pounds on fight night and is 6 foot 2 inches.

Martinez is 5 foot 10 (maybe) and weighs in at 165, 166 pounds on fight night...sounds pretty even to me....

Ward needs to step up and face Bute

I love how Andre beats Kessler, Abraham, Green, and Froch, and people still hate on him for some reason. He's right about bute too. Bute should beat Froch first before fighting Andre Ward. I'd like to see Ward fight Andre Dirrell next. He has one loss and he arguably beat Froch in that loss. It's a good defense. Than, fight Bute if he beats Froch.

I have no doubt that Andre Ward, after fighting Lucian Bute, Andre Dirrell, Anthony Dirrell, and probably Edwin Rodriguez, will go to LHW and whup guys there. Who can beat Ward at 168-175??? I don't see anyone that can.

So the same people hating on Martinez for calling guys out a division smaller are now hating on Martinez because Wards calling him put from 168?

Doesn't really make much sense. Martinez is a natural 154 lb fighter. He weighed in at 157 for ****s sake. Tell Ward to come down to 164.

Its "hate" to want to see the no1 SMW face the no2 SMW?

Sergio needs to stop calling out welterweights.....Ward is a middleweight (albeit super) like himself. You just want Ward to go to LHW becasue you cant tink of a reasonable reason why Sergio shouldn't fight Ward.
......"I'm calling you out..... fight me! at 168 even though you don't even make 160! and weigh in @ 157!.

Both Pacquiao and Floyd won titles @ 154. Calling them out @ 154 is fair game.

Calling out a blown up 37 year old Junior Middleweight to fight @ 168, isn't the equivalent. If Ward was willing to come down to MW it would be an alright fight.

But he should fight better opponents at 160 if hes gonna stay there.

As far as calling out welterweights. Mayweather has fought at 154, Pacquiao at 150. Sergio is willing to fight them at those weights. So kill that ****.
What do you mean "kill that *****"...Floyd has fought at 154 "ONCE!!!!!"....he is not a career 154 lber, hell on fight night with Oscar, Floyd was 149 pounds.

So let me get this straight, Sergio is to small for Ward but not for Floyd or Manny ( both of whom have had only ONE fight in the 150 arena).

You guys just want Sergio to beat Floyd and Manny on physicality because we both know skill for skill, he wouldnt beat Manny or Floyd (or Ward).

Sergio is a middleweight, how is he too small for fight Ward especially if Ward moves down to a catchweight of 164, which he has stated in the past he would do.

Ward started his boxing career at 160...stop protecting Sergio.
