Why do people keep saying Floyd asked Sergio for a 150 catchweight?

This myth keeps cropping up that Floyd asked for a catchweight with Sergio.

This subject came up because a Journalist asked Floyd

'Would you fight Sergio at a catchweight of say 150lbs?'

Floyd didn't suggest it.

Just sayin...


I don't recall Floyd ever requesting a catchweight, that's for suckers...

Team Pacquiao/Roach were actually the one's who brought up the 150lb catchweight for Sergio in the first place, Team Martinez just agreed to it. And then kept their willingness to fight at 150 for Floyd, after Team Pac chickened out.
