Kell Brook: I would smash Amir

Welterweight Kell Brook says he’s ready to fight countryman Amir Khan after producing a dominant display to beat Matthew Hatton at the Motorpoint Arena Sheffield on Saturday night. “No-one can touch me domestically now – I’ve proved I’m ready for a world title push,” said Brook. “I want Khan now. He thought Matthew was the better fighter and I proved him wrong, and I would smash Amir.”

Promoter Eddie Hearn added, “”We are ready for Khan now. Money talks and I am ready to arrange that. If this fight doesn’t happen then it’s them who have bottled it. We’d sell bundles and bundles of tickets for the fight – it would bring back pay-per-view for Sky Sports and both fighters would make a fortune. So the question is – will Amir take it?”

look at them desperate to call out a 140 fighter, Khan will take this fight and don't you worry about that brook, Khan is going to teach you a lesson in that ring. You have fought nothing but bums a couple of average fighters at best

Ortiz, Berto, Bradley, Khan, Alexander and a couple of others would smash you

Real talk BROOK would smash Khan.... He has a better skillset and doesnt rely on a unicycle in the ring....

I would love to see this fight and to those saking when he will fight a strong welter, hes trying to get big fights and a khan fight would put him on the radar of many people here in the states....

grow some balls and fight any top 10 welterweight in the world,if and when khan moves up then try to make a fight

based on what did you see last night would brook smash khan????

brook has a punchers chance and thats it,he's not quicker than khan,he dont know how to put pressure on a fighter,he should of finished hatton last night after the 6th round.

brook stands too straight, khan would pick him off all night long.

there is a good reason brook turned down mike jones twice,he wants to keep fighting bums and building his record in england,27-0 and who's his best win??? matt hatton lol.........gtfo

It wasn't calling Khan out as much as responding to Khan talking more nonsense.

Khan has shown that when he get's caught with a good punch he heads into long-distance runner mode. Khan bounces in and throws straight 4-5 punch combo's...rinse and repeat. Brook can come forward, counter, he's quick, he has good pop....I don't think Khan would take this fight. He's one loss away from serious trouble.

Hello are u dreaming Khan, cant wont take this fight unless he runs out of places to run, Khan can't fight up close, exposed by Maidana who is about as technical and accurate as a Sarah Palin's Geography and Peterson aint much better. if u recognise boxing skills u would also realise that Devon Alexander however impressive in his last fight, technical boxer expose him ........... Know boxing ... dont be a dreaming biased khan tinted glasses fan boy
