Man there are a lot of Divas on this site. I understand having Floyd or Manny at #1 but not have the other at #2 just shows how much you are nutthugging. I don't even like using this term but you guys have to stop being haters. They both deserve respect as boxers.
What's your top #5 P4P list look like now?

Pac's lack of opposition that he actually beat doesn't even warrant him top 5. Fighting Clottey, Margarito, Mosley WHEN he did doesn't even get him in the top 10. Barley beating JMM at WW in 2011 didn't do much besides expose the fact he didn't learn **** since 2008. Technically losing to Bradley in June knocks him down, period. Either way he lost whether you think it was vs JMM or Bradley he did lose one of those fights. Some could argue both.
So at the end of the day Pac is not even top 5 P4P, he's just not. Ask yourself, WHEN was the last time he beat a Champion in the weight class he was fighting in? Or even a title holder at the weight class he was fighting in?
Again, Pac is living off a a CW win from 2009. Nothing pac has done justifies top 5. Mayweather, Martinez, Ward, JMM, Donair, Klit, all have accomplished more. Pac has been exposed and from this point on will be hung out to dry because Bob is cashing out.
Clottey, Cotto were proven top 5 welters, even Mosley was still top 5 and basically the same Mosley Mayweather beat, and he was coming off of a 16 month layoff vs Floyd. He beat them after beating Hatton who was lineal at 140.
He then beat Margarito for a JMW belt, who was later Cotto's best win at JMW and treated as a great feat by Cotto which lead to Mayweather fighting him and Cotto being Mayweather's best win since 2007. JMM was a trilogy fight, Mayweather fought him too, only he cheated him on the scales.
If you try to degrade Pacquiao's resume, you're degrading Mayweather's too (Mayweather has Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz and Cotto since 2009, compared to Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez, Bradley for Pac..seriously..). If you're going to take one off the top 5 list, you have to take both off to be consistent.Last edited by Fighting Pride; 07-14-2012, 10:27 PM.Comment

Ward just won the super six, dominating Kessler, Froch and Abraham.
Why the f*/( should I put Pacquiao in front of Ward ?Comment

How do you rate jmm over ward and Martinez? Jmm got dominated by mayweather, people cant bring up the weight cause he was that weight, fought very effective and arguably beat Pacquiao in the 3rd fight. Ward has never been dominated and outclassed and martinez hasn't lost since margarito and he has been layin cats down.Comment

Pacquiao robbed Marquez and had a tough fight against Bradley. Before that he won against Mosley, Margarito and Clottey ( all those wins mean nothing to me ). All of this time needing catchweight and needing that Marquez move up in weight.
Ward just won the super six, dominating Kessler, Froch and Abraham.

Thanks, I also see your point by saying many people purposely exclude Pacquiao and Mayweather because they simply hate them, which is ******. However I personnaly have a hard time to put Pacquiao at number 1, 2 or 3. I miss the old Pac that was taking all challenges.Comment

i had pac number 2 until the marquez fight which i felt he lost, then ward won the super six less than a month later beating froch easily. i had pac beating bradley tho.Comment

1. Mayweather
2. Martinez
3. Pacquiao
4. Ward
5. Marquez
I'd say those five, based on skill level and recent fights. There are a few fighters who have all the skills to make the top five but are lacking in the record department. In a couple of years time, I expect the likes of Gamboa and Rigo to join the list.Comment

Pacquiao lost to Marquez and beat Bradley, but he hasn't fought a legit opponent for a few years besides those two. he's number 5 on my list and that's why. If you don't agree fine, but don't call me a nuthugger. I hate Mayweather.Comment
