So just because he had a brother murdered by a boxer you respect him as a boxing commentator that is a ****** reason to respect someone. I imagine if a boxer murdered his entire family tree that would make him the best boxing commentator in history!

This is typical American bull**** Americans admire only flash and the person with the biggest loud mouth. That's why so many people on this board love Mayweather. America is a country that hates intellect and loves and praises ignorance and loud mouths. Just look at your countries fav people. Rush Limbaugh, Mayweather, Glen Beck. Most watched news channel is Fox news. You Americans come up with the dumbest rationale for admiring people. Oh, because one of his family members was murdered by a boxer that makes him great in my book. No one even cares whether or not Kellerman earned his spot at HBO. All he ever did was host a radio show which he shot off his big mouth, an ESPN show which he shot off his big mouth (and got cancelled) worked FNF's and had that arrogant segment where people asked him questions like if he was an expert and he lost that job too.

But people from America hate Larry Merchant, just because he earned his way up the ladder. He has been a legit sports journalists, a legit boxing writer and historian. Max Kellerman has not written ****, but Americans like that because 95% of them have never read a book or a newspaper, so they admire loud mouth know-it-alls like Kellerman because they have so much in common with him and that is arrogance, lack of work ethic, and a sense of entitlement.

I prefer Larry though, even if it does take him fifteen ****ing years to finish a sentence these days.

Kellerman is the closes thing to unbiased the HBO team has..I like Kellerman,I love Merchant too but his time has past tbh..His post fight interview only confirmed this for me even further..Kellerman is no Jim Grey,but Kellerman is the best thing HBO has going on that announce team...
