The Truth About BS, Floyd And Manny

BS is unbearable now. "*****s vs *******s", grow up and get a life. The two will likely NEVER fight, so DROP IT. Enjoy the sport and enjoy each fighter for what they do in the ring. These personal attacks, race wars, child like insults etc. are pathetic and ruin this forum.

Facts are facts. I own Manny Nike shoes and a few MP shirts, I love watching him fight, I myself am a Christian, and think what Manny has done is great. I don't think about the steroids and all that and don't know if he juiced. Today most fighters are juicing, which is cowardly, but unless you know for sure speculation is worthless.

However, clearly Floyd is the better fighter. ANYBODY that understands boxing knows that. That is why basically every pro fighter and trainer tells you that Floyd beats Manny, even if they like Manny more. There is a reason Floyd is #1 by a mile in terms of his connect percentage vs. his opponent. It's not even close, and Manny is not even in the top 20. Floyd would dominate Manny and outbox him easily, just like he did Marquez. Does that take away anything from Manny? No. He is an amazing fighter and from his first MAB fight up until now he has done amazing things. He may be more exciting than Floyd and more fun to watch (I personally love people that shut down their opponents and make great fighters look ordinary, such as Floyd and the person in my av)

The bottom line is BOTH are great. Clearly Floyd is a better fighter, but he has been boxing since he was 3 years old. His technical abilities are elite, in any era. Manny is a great athlete with amazing power and speed, and a tremendous heart. They each have strengths and weaknesses, and they are each legends in their own way (once again, no question Floyd will be regarded as the better boxer years from now but that is irrelevant)

So PLEASE, stop with the garbage and just enjoy the sport. Have INTELLIGENT discussions about boxing, and if you don't know what you are talking about, study tape, join a gym, and just observe. Of course this will likely accomplish nothing, but this could be my last post on here because the children have taken over the asylum. God bless.

Manny is a great fighter but the extent to which he has been overhyped is ridiculous. Saying Pacquiao would beat Floyd is like saying Chavez (sr) would beat Ray Leonard.

But as I've been saying for 3 years, the fight will never happen (unless by some miracle Pacquiao splits with Arum) so we may as well enjoy the last few fights they have before they retire.

To suggest that Mayweather is a better boxer than Pacquiou is beyond ridiculous. Just look at their respective resumes. Mayweathers best win is against Corrales and not being funny but Chico is not a hall of famer. Pacquiou has been in with legends like Morales, Barrera et al when they were at their peak. Mayweather has never fought a pound for pound welterweight with the exception of Mosley (who was well past his prime and fought like it). Unless Mayweather steps up and fights Pacquiou then he will never be regarded as the better boxer.

I could easily disprove everything you've said, but the fact that you think Morales and Barrerra were in their prime when Pac fought them tells me that there's no point in educating you.

its an unusual situation. in the past anyone else would of fought by now. i agree with what you say for the most part. mayweather would be favored. however thinking you know the outcome before it happens is ******ed. either could win. the stans on this site are insufferable. especially mayweathers for me. cant believe anyone would spend so much time not only defending him unconditionally but hating anyone at all who doesnt.

even tho i got into boxing after watching mayweather fight. i joined this forum hoping to learn more about the boxing and other pros but it kinda sucks that almost every thread is about mayweather and pac. its like theres no other boxer around

TS just sit back enjoy the show. It's quite entertaining looking at arguments of so called boxing fans. In reality they are just fans of a certain boxer thus their names, avis, ect. We all know they became boxing fans some time in the last 5 to 7 years but we were all noobs at some point. I remember watching fights in the early 90's as a kid but I would not consider myself a fan at that point. It was Trinidad during the latter half of the 90's that made me a fan. We all been there the blind nuthugging, the baseless arguments, and everything else. Let them duke it out over the two biggest pre-maddonas in the history of boxing. After the smoke clears half will be gone and some will truly share and love the passion of the sport.

bro some of these guys are so far beyond fans it borderlines on insanity. where talking full on male groupies infatuated and obsessed especially with mayweather. you've got a few guys like atrayu & brother jay that will hate a guy, his whole family and anyone he ever met just for putting gayweather at #2 all time greatest. they would rather spend all day on the internet with 10 different names posting about him then getting a job or even taking care of themselves. they use different names just so it looks like more people like him. we're talking single white female life revolving around him bat shhit crazy
