I thought it was a good KO by Briggs He was catching him beautifully with a solid, fast right hand every time LIakhovich threw a combination, and you could see from the middle of the rd that he was wilting.

        Not strange.

I'm talking DLH/Hopkins, Ali's phantom punch... paul Brigg's head pat KO... lemme have them.
Doesn't have to be recent, could be whenever
When Julio Diaz got KOd by Juan Valenzuela. That was pretty head scratching.

Wasnt the KOTY candidate from last year pretty weird? The 2 Borricuas going at it on Solo Boxeo?

The way he got caught in between the ring and a table was strange. Also the how it happened at the last second was special.

Special, yes, I agree. I'd forgotten how fast Briggs' counterpunching had been.

When Roy Jones got KTFO and layed on the canvas for about 20 minutes while they petted his head. LOL

When Bhop KO'd Oscar with a belly slap. Oscar had the strength to pound on the canvas repeatedly but not no strength to stand up.

The KO's pictured so far have been good, rare and "funny" (if any KO can be called funny) but in my opinion not "strange".

My concept of a strange KO is Lamon Brewster over Wladimir Klitschko, totally against the run of the fight and against Klitschko's well known MO. Brewster had been taking a bad beating for 4 rounds and had been KD'd in the 4th seriously enough for the ref to stop it. Suddenly Klitschko began to falter and stagger drunkenly around the ring and stop defending himself.

Another equally strange is the Harold Johnson-Julio Mederos fight, always referred to as the "poisoned orange" fight. Johnson, 15 lbs lighter than the full heavyweight Mederos, had beaten him easily a year before and was a far better fighter in every way, for many, an All-Time Great. In the second rd. Johnson suddenly collapsed without being hit, and couldn't continue, He was found to have barbiturates in his system, and, although claiming he was drugged, was suspended for 6 months. He said that the last thing he remembered was during the rd break, sucking on a piece of orange, whic tasted very bitter. Johnson is one of the best ring masters in history, although often forgotten today.
