i think what was really starting to bother floyd was the rabbit punches
Mayweather threw everything so he could do DAMAGE...He didnt have to do anything to get Ortiz' respect, cuz the right hand got Ortiz respect the whole fight AND Made Ortiz back up and run...Ortiz had to trample over Floyd's feet just to tag him,and take him to the ropes right before the headbutt...He wasnt going to KO Ortiz, he was going to TKO Him, cuz he was throwing too many punches, doing too much damage...the fight would have stopped in the 6th rnd with Ortiz sitting in the corner TKO

Thanks but No thanks...I want to hear him COMPLIMENT the KO and give Floyd props for doing it...I was so mad the commentators didnt get excited, nor jump out of their seats...they called it "classless"?..This is BOXING, Ur SUPPOSED to do that if a guy hugs u THREE times in a ROW in a CHAMPIONSHIP fight....The UK commentators where excited, and Bob Sheridan commentated.."And THEEN, as Ortiz tries the sportsmanship, Mayweather makes em pay..what a rookie mistake"

          welcome back
ortiz was en rout to getting stopped or completely controlled for 8 more rounds

he was eating right hand leads. he was frustrated enough in there to start to throw some of the most blatant headbutts you can throw

Ortiz probably loses, but we could've seen more action for our money. They were finally letting shots fly when it ended.

Cannot believe people still think this. Ortiz was going to get stopped by the 10th, the fight was one-sided.

I agree that it was heating up, yes Ortiz was losing and Mayweather most likely would have won, but you can't tell me it wasn't a tense fight from the start.

I'm not saying Ortiz was going to win, but people who say it was a blowout up to that point are pure nut huggers.
It was a blowout. No reason Ortiz would have left his feet to try and headbutt Floyd other than being frustrated from getting his ass kicked.

I thought that was a good ending to be quite honest.

                    1) It was a very memorable end, if Floyd goes on to dominate him even stopping him late it is same old same old, got to see something rather unique

                    2) Floyd was pissed, to see Floyd just end a fight after getting pissed like that was something I liked.

                    3) I hate when dudes foul then try to act like friends, if it is an accident that is one thing. Trying to buddy up with a ruthless dude is a pretty big mistake and I have no problem with dude getting made to pay the ultimate price.

                    4) I am pretty confident that fight was already on the slide for Ortiz and we had already seen the best action.

Ortiz would be knocked out before the 7th round.
