To be fair this is probably the best outcome for Chisora. If he does a bit of charity, anger management and there is hype of a big money generating fight with a live opponent in the next 6 months, the board will find it hard not to reinstate his licence. Basically what the board is saying is come back when the dust has settled and there is less media hype. If they had banned him for 6 months there would have been uproar from the media saying it was too lenient a sentence. The board knows 12 months would have been too harsh on Chisora. So what they have done, which is good for boxing in my opinion, is put the ball in Chisora's court for him to improve his publicity. If Chisora and Warren are clever enough they can even go back in 4 months time and get the licence back.

That's too bad, Chisora is one of the few interesting HW's, and relatively young. Hopefully he will get back. I would like to see him against Wlad one day.

Like Chisora has Options for work

It's not like Chisora the wild animal uncouth acting boxer has employment options and various other fields of endeavor he can find suitable employment in. When you slap the champion, then spit water in the face of another champion in the ring and then start a brawl in the post fight presser along with losing your last 3 fights your options are limited. is there Barber College for Chisora??????

The shame of all this is that for a few moments of ******ity he could ave walked away from this with his reputation firmly enhanced. He is little more than a prospect who just gave Vitali his toughest fight since Lewis and yet no-one is talking about how well he did in the ring just all the ****** stuff he did outside of it.

Scott harrison got his license back after going to jail for beating **** out a policeman when he was supposedly in training so i think chisora will get his back for a wee brawl. He just needs to eat humble pie, lay low and say hes a reformed character. Until then my works looking for a cleaner.

Hell, Paul Spadafora shot his pregnant girlfriend in the midsection, plead guilty and then got his boxing license back in Pennsylvania. Chisora will clearly be back.

To be fair to chisora part of the reason he got all wound up fight night was because of the British board of control not doing there job in the dressing rooms pre fight i think they banned him out of spite because of warren speaking badly about them pre fight
