Rigondeaux-Moreno would be a great fight, just one that some people wouldn't like to see because of the styles. I'd like to see it though. Before Mares and Moreno move up, I think they should fight though. Have them fight in August or something for a big BW unification. I got Moreno in that fight, but I'm pulling for Mares of course.
I don't know why Golden Boy or Top Rank would shy away from making that fight? Unless they feel it was just be completely boring. Neither promotional company have anything to worry about. In terms of their fighter losing. Is not like either guy are a rating machines or ticket sellers. Nobody really cares about these 2 fighters.

Moreno-Mares isn't happening at 118 might not happen at all. Since Golden Boy see a star in Mares.

You have to love Rigondeaux's attitude. Hopefully one of those fighters will show interest in a fight with him, though we know it won't be Donaire.

Yep, it's not a good idea to have one of your meal tickets lose, especially when that loss would cool the unrealistic talk of featherweight domination.

I don't think he's calling them. I think he's just saying those guys are always mentioning him on interviews. That he doesn't do all that talking and he wants them to know he's ready whenever. Unless you talking about Salido and Caballero.

I think he was just listing people that have mentioned his name. Or maybe he dunno who Moreno is, the same way R. Mayweather didn't know who Gamboa was or maybe he doesn't wanna do a whole interview just going off listing people. I really doubt Rigo is scared to fight any of these guys around his division. The man is a monster and you see his game face? No type of emotions shown, NOT EVEN FEAR.

As I said in our discussion yesterday, Rigo is willing to fight Donaire, Nishioka and Arce, but are they willing to fight him? I have no doubt that Guillermo will take the best fights available.
