Same with Vince Phillips. Im not saying Hatton wouldnt have beat the version of Vince Phillips that beat Tszyu but the one he faced had fallen so far that he was doing K1 fights for money because he couldnt get a decent payday otherwise.

Ndou gave Junior witter a great fight and some thought he won it. Also Corely isnt a bad fighter. He troubled Cotto in their bout.
Oliviera wasn't a shot fighter when he fought Hatton. He was still as durable as He could be, and a good test for anyone. I'm willing to bet your judging Oliviera to be "shot" because of the Augustus fight. Oliviera weighed in at 150. He was badly out of shape physically and mentally. Augustus isn't one to back out of fights so He took the fight like He always does.

Corley is a good fighter, but He is a little guy. He should be fighting at 135. 140 is much too big for him.

    Bottom line:
Tackie, Phillips, Tszyu (who was still THE MAN at 140 when Hatton beat him), Oliviera, and Maussa is a much better resume then Mayweathers. Floyd is fighting the little guy's like himself, and hasn't even fought a career 140 (Gatti started his career at 130). He hasn't fought a good 140 lb. puncher like Tackie, Phillips, and Tszyu have proved to be.

I think we can agree that he was definitely shot AFTER the Hatton bout, can't we? I actually embarrassed myself by telling someone at work to bet on Oliviera for the upset... then watched as he didn't even win a round and took a systematic beating.

None of this matters any how because Hatton and mayweather are both undefeated. it's all very nice to speculate on who's better and mention previous opponents but at the end of the day there two different styles of fighter and rather than argue over who's fought the better opponent why not use your energies in making the fight happen? If Mayweather moves to 147 its probably because he is terrified of Hatton. if he stays the fight will take place next year, simple!

Even if Floyd moves to 147 I think Hatton could handle fighting at that weight as well. He could unify l. welter then move up for a fight with Floyd. If Floyd wins that is. I think too many people unestimate Zab. Sure he got stretched by Tsyzu but so did a number of fighters and Tsyzu had one hell of a punch, which PBF doesn't. I think Zab is the bigger puncher of the two and is just about as fast as PBF, especially at 147. I do admit that I was a bit disappointed when the announcers were saying HAtton would fight Gatti next. It would be a great fight but I think Hatton would easily win this. Gatti is past him prime and has been in too many wars. This would be a money fight for Hatton but would not contribute to his legacy at all since PBF already pummelled Gatti.

There is no way you say that Floyd's resume is ****ty at 140 and then try and justify Hatton's.

Outside of Tszyu, Hatton wouldn't even make a case for a top ten ranking.

You seem to know your stuff, but the minute you can be visable seen not liking a paticular fighter, your logic takes a nose dive.

You can dislike someone without trying to discreit them for poor useless reasons.

At this time, I don't think Tszyu wants ant part of PBF...

Tszyu is already over the hill

This is where we usually disagree on most things anyways Bozo.

Floyd hasn't fought any career 140 lbers. Hatton has fought tough, durable guys in Phillips, Tackie, Tszyu, Oliviera all very tough guys.

If you look at Floyd's resume POST-135 He has fought N'dou who started his career at 130, Corley (140 lbs), Bruseles who I'm not sure about, and Gatti (130). He hasn't even fought the top-tier guys at 140, although you could make the same case about Hatton.
