This keeps getting better and better (or worse and worse). I doubt Top Rank would sue if they didn't have a clear case. Wouldn't surprise me if they made Gamboa sit out the rest of his contract (including the new 2 year extension).

With one movement Gamboa managed to piss off HBO, Top Rank, Rios, the major of Miami and many fight fans, and also got into legal trouble that may send his career down the drain. What a crack.

Only if there was a real fight contract signed a lawsuit would progress. The big problem here is gamboas contract with TR, as i don't think he has nowhere near the money to buy himself out. Wouldn't it be awsome if cotto and maywether co promoted him and get him a spot on their may 5 ... Lol
