Rigondeaux to take on Kennedy on Pacquiao – Bradley card

Sources have confirmed to 15rounds.com that WBA Super Bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux will defend his crown against once beaten Philadelphian Teon Kennedy as part of the June 9th Manny Pacquiao – Timothy Bradley undercard.
These are the games that make unforgettable this sport and it’s a real shame to miss them. As the boxer Ottavio Barone once put it: ‘This is not merely throwing your fists on a curve, it’s a challenge against yourself.’ Luckily, even if you miss a game, you can still get the latest updates on your phone, maybe whilst you’re playing some mobile casino games.

Rigondeaux, 9-0 with seven knockouts won the full title on January 20 with a sixth round stoppage over Rico Ramos. Kennedy, 17-1-2 with seven knockouts is coming off a draw with Christopher Martin

It could be a big night for the stable of Promoter Russell Peltz/Managers Doc Nowicki and Joe Hand who also have Mike Jones fighting Randall Bailey for the vacant IBF Welterweight title on that same PPV undercard

    He should destroy Teon.

Teon is a tough kid. But he's feather fisted with very little head movement.

This is what I'm talking about. Bob Arum isn't going to let Rigondeaux fight Nishioka, Arce, Terrazas, or someone like that, until Donaire is out of the division. Because if Rigo beats a Nishioka or Arce, it'll be that much mor epressure o n him to make Donaire-Rigondeaux.

I don't expect Rigo to get any good fights until Nonito moves up to 126. There's no excuse as to why Donaire-Rigondeaux doesn't happen. Both have titles at SBW and both are with the exact same promoter. We'll probably end up seeing Donaire fight Mijares, Arce, and than Lopez at 126 after Lopez beats Billy Dib for a title.

I would have preferred Rigo-Shimoda or Rigo-Molitor over this fight.

Well, if Donaire doesnt fight Nishioka or atleast Arce next, you and your crew should stay silent!!

By the way this is just as bad or worst selection of opponents by Rigo, smh!

i am a big fan of rigondeaux but yeah this is a crap fight. only thing that can be said is he will look devastating, and on a very big card which should get him some decent exposure, otherwise not good at all really.
then again, nobody wants to fight him so bit tough.
