Comments Thread For: Arum Not Happy With Pacquiao-Mayweather Split Reports

Arum is only concerned with "his" share of the pot and no one else's. He's been a greedy old fart for decades and nothings changed.
As for the negotiations, Mayweather deserves to be in the driver seat considering multiple things. One, Pacquiao in the eyes of many lost to Marquez and when you lose before a big fight or come close to losing you really lose bargaining power going into your next fight. Two, Pacquiao has never made the money that Mayweather has guaranteed him despite the percentage split. Third, Mayweather stretched his last opponent despite the opponent not being ready which was his amateurish fault in my opinion.
So, when I hear crap like Mayweather is scared and Pacquaio deserves an even split it makes me cringe because it doesn't make logical sense considering the one, two and three I listed above. And lastly, least we forget that when negotiations between these two started years ago that it was Manny who refused the Olympic Style drug testing. Only someone who is guilty of a crime is scared to face the judge. The judge being the test in this case.
Oh, and almost forgot, Manny was quoted saying he'd take less money for this fight and amazingly now he wants par. Correction, Greedy Arum wants par(more for his own pocket) So, let's wrap this up, he barely wins his last fight, he initially refused Olympic style drug testing, he's never made the millions that are on the table, and he agreed to take less money a few months ago... Got it!
People who claim Mayweather is scared or overpricing himself are complete dummies. No pun intended.

If Arum was out of the picture and Floyd was reasonable, this fight would happen. Of course, if pigs had wings they'd fly. But they don't and we won't see this fight.
