... I'm aware there's an astonishing - not to say downright rude and obnoxious - anti-Brit sentiment from a proportion of the members, but a lot of the views expressed on here tonight are, frankly, garbage.
I've logged on to see what boxing enthusiasts made of the fight. Instead I'm greeted with a bunch of kindergarten flames from 12-year-olds. Why does someone like Bloodshed even bother to comment when it's clear he knows nothing about boxing whatsoever? I love the implied racist remark from Bloodshed to Eveliel when Evil said he enjoyed the fight... it was about three stages away from "piss off back to England, you're not allowed to post here"... nice stuff.
Also a little dig about an ex member's site where Evil mods. Bloodshed, have you ever considered that the reason that ex-member invented his own site was not because he wanted an "all-Brit" site as you so ******ly assert, but maybe because he wanted to actually talk about BOXING without having to read **** from moronic little pricks like you?
Then there's the outrageous thread that asserts Ricky was dirtier than Maussa. Unbelievable! And, OF COURSE, it was a "wrestling match" (yawn) and the ref was biased.
Sorry, but did these people actually WATCH the fight? This biased ref was the same guy who let Maussa hit Ricky in the goolies about fifty times without taking a point away was "biased"?
Ricky "hit after the bell"???? What, so Mayweather didn't in the Mitchell bout then? I was actually extremely impressed with Hatton's control tonight. Sure, his mind was elsewhere and he was crap for three rounds, but he actually took the guy out using boxing skill and precision. He figured out a very awkward opponent, and while he didn't always look great doing it, he's now the confirmed No.1 in the division (I know he was anyway, but...) by holding 50% of the major belts.
Maussa caused the cuts by headbutts, and was rubbing his glove in the cuts continuously. Hatton barely reacted to the provocation, nor to his black and blue balls.
Rabbit punches? That's when Maussa's ducking down into the swing, right?
This was a clean performance from Hatton and a clean knockout.
Come on, let's hear the predictable "Brit" bull****. I don't even like Hatton that much, but he was far from dirty tonight. The same people who are bitching about his "head" are probably the same people who laud Hopkins and Evander Holyfield.
Seriously, I've read some absolute festering bull**** on here in my time, but this really is beyond a joke. The assertion that Hatton was "dirtier" than Maussa is really incredulous.
Bollocks.

It's my way of showing love.
