floyd will probably win on points but he will finally be in a fight where it will seem like he was in a fight.Cotto will hit Mayweather harder and more often than any of his opponents since Castillo.Cotto doesn't do well with pressure fighters, he loses his cool and timing, but floyd would give him all the time in the world to set up counters and sit on his punches.

"Although Pacquiao beat Cotto, it was a physically demanding fight. Pacquiao suffered a broken right ear drum in addition to the cuts and bruises on his face, Roach said."

It's been only two days since Manny Pacquiao's historic 12th-round knockout of Miguel Cotto but already the focus is firmly on a potential Pacquiao showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Posting something about Pacquiao's hardships in the fight is a ****** way to back up your argument. Pacquiao has little to no defense, this guy looked like he was in a fight against Joshua Clottey, where he won 120-108. Pac looks like he's in a fight, in almost every fight.

That's right. Most likely Floyd is going to win the fight, but hopefully Cotto will make it a fight.

Mayweather deserves to be heavily favored, but Cotto will give him a fight.

my prediction as well. cotto countered pac very well first few rounds and was winning some of them when the KD's came. he just really succumbed to relentless non-stop pressure. while floyd is the better counterpuncher and has better defense, his style wont intimidate or take cotto out of his element or gameplan.

He also wont have to weigh 145 for the fight. I think that had something to do with him tiring down the stretch.
