But let me just say one thing, in a boxing match, height doesn't matter. Weight does though.
Also, you can come in to the fight all confident that you know he can't knock you out, it's almost a fact to you that he can't knock you out. But don't forget Calderon was a great counter puncher and had great handspeed, so while you're all confident of fighting a little child size boxer who can't knock you out, it's that one punch you don't see coming that can wobble/stun you or accumulation of those can bruise up your face and puff up your eyes, forcing a corner or doctor STOPPAGE, because of your face, and for being so behind on the scorecards and the fight just getting worse.
So basically, no he can't knock you out like a 10 count, or out cold...but Calderon can stop you by way of just puffing up your face, closing your eyes to the point where can no longer see and it's just not worth continuing to fight.Comment

I'm not claiming to be a tough guy etc etc... I have sparred many times at my local gym and I can hold my own with decent people in my own weight... I grew up in one of the toughest parts of Glasgow and have had my chin checked many a time and been I a lot of scraps... Granted they mean **** when you get in the ring but what I'm getting at is that I'm a decent fighter/boxer and I'm pretty sure Calderon doesn't KO me... I'm pretty certain that with my size difference I could pressure him enough... My punches whether they landed on arms and elbows would still be a massive impact on him... 7 stone and 1 foot is gargantuan weight and height advanteges... His best shot of KO'ing me in my opinion is body shotsComment

But do you feel good about yourself though? You know 5' is like, a 3rd-5th grader right? And Minimumweight is like, also a child. So even if you did last the distance with him, you'd be looked at as a p*ssy in the first place, for even entertaining a fight with such a short, small guy. I rather get knocked out by Saul Alvarez, rather than go 12 with Calderon.Comment

I am shorter than you are and I am positive I could choke Ivan out. In fact any MMA fighter wins against a boxer in a street fight since most fights end up on the ground. I'd just impose my size on him and take him into submission.Comment

I've met both Ivan Calderon and Paulie Malignaggi and although I'm bigger, muscle wise and weight wise, I know they would both smoke me after a few rounds. It doesn't matter how much pumch resistance you have unless you train to fight 12 round pro fights, you will not last. I am 5'7" 180lbs and KO'd a 6'2" 200lb guy in a 3 round fight but against these former champs, no dice. It all boils down to stamina and conditioning.Comment
