No its revisionist history. People act like Khan was an established fighter, when he was little more than a prospect. It would've been ****** for Warren to put him straight back in with Prescott. He needed to rebuild completely, changed his trainer, moved to America, , changed promoter, moved up in weight etc.
People used to just say he ducked punchers, then he fought Maidana. Now suddenly everyone is going back to Prescott who has done more than Khan to stop the fight happening by losing or putting in crap performances.Comment

I rewatched the fight again on Sunday evening.
After watching it the first time I thought Khan would struggle and not be able to adapt in the short time if they had an immediate rematch.
Then I started to think Khan would be able too as i did actually score the first fight to him by a round.
Then after rewatching the fight on Sunday I don't think Khan is going to be able to deal with Peterson. There was a turning point where Peterson just lost respect for Khan and ploughed forward and bulldozed him. Khan wasn't in a good place when that happened and i firmly believe Peterson will carry on where he left off, but this time possibly even get the KO if Khan insists on hanging his chin out to prove a point.Comment

No I didn't. All I've ever freaking said is that Khan would be third best at 147, which again I still believe unless Bradley stays at 147 after the Pacquiao fight. I predicted Peterson would give Khan trouble, and I've always been more a fan of Lamont Peterson than Amir Khan. Now it's not even close.Comment

If Khan makes absolutely no changes to his mind-set/style/strategy, then he's gonna have to depend on the ref to save him. I think Peterson has the chance to finish what he started. However, Khan tends to start fast which is probably what prevented Peterson from starting to pressure early. He might not be as effective with the pressure when Khan is at full strength. Peterson needs to make sure he doesn't square up to Khan in those inside exchanges, and that he isn't following Khan aimlessly around the ring. Peterson did say Pressure was Plan B, but maybe it should stay that way. I think the money combo will be a strong jab to the pit of stomach followed by an overhand right. This could definitely be effective when Khan is laying on the ropes.I rewatched the fight again on Sunday evening.

I'm a little surprised, that's all.
