Salido would be too big and strong for donaire. Donaire should stay at 122 for a while. There are a lot of good fights for him there Nishioka, Rigo and with some of the best 118 pounders moving up eventually.

I don't see that happening anytime soon. By then Salido, will be a shot fighter imo.

122 has Nishioka and Rigo, and will have Mares and Moreno. Donaire should stay at 122 and fight at least a few of these guys.

I'd comfortably pick Donaire to win that and while I'd be interested, Donaire-Moreno or Mares, Nishioka and Rigo are equally as appealing so I don't see the need for him to move up.

Salido isn't too big or strong for Donaire as many claim. Salido wide looping punches ala Darchinyan would have Donaire licking his chaps and ready to set his foot to land them deadly left hooks on Salido face.

Donaire's left hook can crumple anybody at any weight class. Slick boxers like Gamboa, Rigo, Moreno and Broner would be tough for Donaire.

But fighters like Salido or Mares is a KO of the year waiting to happen. Specially how Salido launches his face when he throws them over right hand.

Agree 100% here. He may have looked good against Juanma, but Juanma's defense is horrible, I see Donaire countering him with big shots over and over and possibility getting the stoppage.

Wasn't the looping punches from Salido the perfect tactic for Lopez?

First, allow both Boxers to unify their respective Weight Divisions, then, probably next year, both will be ready for that Title bout at 126lbs!

It will be an exciting fight, but, I like Donaire to win, he's got speed and power
and can relate smoothly with Media, as he can speak English, fluently!
