JuanMa can be the PR Gatti....

Stop thinking of him as elite. He's an action fighter. If he becomes the PR version of Gatti, there's nothing wrong with that!!

It just seems like he could do so much more. Being a modern day gay Gatti is nothing to sneeze at though.

I see him being more of a Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga type of career. Gatti was bette than those guys.

This. I would hate for a guy with so much potential to have to go thru unnecessary punishment and down a road he doesn't need to take. You implement a decent jab on Juanma and a mentality of patience and catch opponents coming in/smarter offense and he will win fights. He is too skilled to just be lazy and become a brawler.

A modern day Gatti would be great---though he needs to get a win against his Ward.

            Gatti had better technique.

He knew how to put snap on on his punches.

And not just defense like everyone has been saying lately too. His offense even seems to have regressed. He pushes his punches now and doesn't any hip or shoulder behind them, just arm punches.

Gatti had a better good chin but a weak body imo.

Lets see how durable Juan Ma is after a few of these. Dont forget the

Look at the number of wars Gatti was in, how much punishment he took. He fought multiple opponents multiple times.

                    Gatti fought:
-Ward 3 times in the best Trilogy in Boxing. (2 FOTY, wouldve been 3 but 2 fights were in the same year)
-Ivan Robinson 2 times (1 FOTY)
                    -FOTY with Gabriel Ruelas
-2 fights with Tracy Harris Patterson
                    -fight with Floyd/Oscar

Juan Ma wishes he was Gatti:

Gatti had 4 FOTY (5 if he didnt fight Ward twice in one year)
