I think Marquez has a lot of respect for Salido. It seemed like Marquez had no interest in trading with Salido when they fought. Stylistically Salido is perfect for Marquez and he easily won the decision but you could tell Marquez knew he's not the kind of guy you want to brawl with. He was content with keeping his range and out boxing Salido.

salido made me a fan. showed great heart, which i knew he already had, but also great skill and combination punching. kinda reminded me of marquez some times in the fight

Yeah Salido was throwing some beautiful lead uppercuts, which we all know Marquez loves to throw.
