I don't care about what a fighter does outside of the ring, that does not affect how I see them inside the ring.
Post fight interviews are inside the ring. Say whatever you want, disrespect anyone you want, call some one out, but at least give respect where respect is due. Show respect to your opponent who just knocked you out fair and square and leave the ref out of your damn mouth when the ref clearly did nothing wrong to YOU throughout the whole fight. If you feel you got robbed or you feel a Technical dec win was given to the other fighter to save him from losing, or the fight was clearly close and you think you won then go ahead and give your opinion cause you have that excuse. But you get soundly beaten 8 rounds to 2 and get knocked out, got the corrupt judges, and you got the ref only warning the other fighter, then be humble and stfu.
In conclusion, no I don't feel bad for him.Comment

Lots of people getting pissy about the interview. We all make mistakes. I can't imagine anyone talking straight after getting battered from pillar to post, then getting KO'd.Comment

People give him crap for having a weak chin after the fight... really?
He has an exposed chin, look how many powershots he took during that fight flush and he only went down after taking what.... 5 plus consecutive shots?
I'll give him that, up until then he was a warrior, then he turned into a Khan.Comment

He don't give a **** about anyone here. There's feeling sad for someone or something, but when it is boxing, there is always a loser, even if there is a draw.Comment

i feel very bad for him. he fought his heart out in the first fight only to get a bad stoppage and lose his perfect record and his title in his hometown.
he gets a second chance, again in his hometown. puts on one of the most brave performances i ever seen only to get knocked out in convincing fashion by the same man. in front of his hometown, his entire family including his kids and by a mexican as a PR fighter.
not saying theres anything wrong with losing to a mexican but as a rican fighting in PR i guess you really dont want to let the fans down considering the rivalry. and this was an epic fight, he knows that too. and he knows he will go down as the loser in a fight that fans will be watching and discussing for years to come.
and even though we all know he couldnt continue, he still knew what was going on and still wanted to fight. as a fighter it really hurts when you think you can continue and the ref doesnt let you. its very hard to get over, and we all know how badly wanted this fight. i feel his pain right now..Comment

i know give the guy a break already
like we all know that shane mosley is one of the nicest guys in the sport but i've seen him make excuses after losing before no one's perfect
personally i thought juanma showed tremendous heart to keep taking those punches and carry on fighting alot have guys would have quit
it can't be easy getting battered like that infront of your home fans either so what if he was a little salty afterwards
i guess the fight with gamboa is well and truly out the window now thoughComment
