I understand why the referee isn't accepting Juanma's apologies, I would say go to the ref and apologies to him face to face like you mean it, Not release an apology like you are forced to due to damage control.

No, the ref should NOT move on! That is like JuanMa taking a seldgehammer to the Ref's car and then thinking an apology is all that it takes. WRONG! There has to be damage compensation. That Ref would have gladly handed JuanMa the sledghammer over having his reputation damaged instead.

compensation? for what??? every one saw the ref was clearly in juanma's corner and your sledge hammer theory does not apply because in that scenario there would be actual damages. this situation might bring the ref more fame and fortune as he was in on the attempt to rob salido. IMO juanma issued a mea culpa the "im sorry" had to be public since the accusation was public. the ref and judges should kow tow to salido because they were going to rob him. all juanma had to do was make it to the finish line. bob arum was going to work his grey magic again in favour of a top stank fighter.

to be fair to juanma he took hundreds of power punches to the head (most of them pinpoint on his chin,) before getting knocked the hell out.
he stood back up at the end of the fight and his lights went back out again.
that's head trauma.

people with head injuries are much more open to impulse. like a drunk.

i GUARANTEE he remembers almost nothing from the fight. guys shouldnt even be doing interviews after a beating like that in my opinion. he was rocked beyond belief still during that interview

The ref should ignore the apology and then beat this crybaby's ass. I'm glad Juanma got his ass beat and I think he is vastly overarted. But I never expected him to pull this crap. I was actually embarassed for him. This guy is a fcuking loser and I hope HBO and SHowtime don't put him on anymore.
