he's doing play by play, does it really matter? The guys who know boxing are always asked questions by Gus all fight long, which is how it should be.

I dont need a boxing historian to do the play by play but I would like someone who knows who and what he is watching and doesn't aggrevate the hell out of me for the entire fight. Its all a opinion here and imo he sucks donkey ****.

I have heard Gus commentate for MMA as well, I like him. He's like the Jim Lampley of Showtime when it comes to bringing excitement to a fight.

I especially like hearing him in Andre Ward fights.

He actually didn't yell that much, but he did go crazy in the 9th round. I can't believe people don't like him, I guess some of these guys don't watch the british commentary, it's a snooze fest.

It confuses me when some one wants to see Lampley from HBO or Gus from Sho leave. To me they're the voice of the crew, the other guys are the brains. You need a voice and a brain. These guys are exciting to hear. I mean when one of your comments make it as one of the fights highlights, then you did a good job.
