      I just think both Broner and Salido could benefit from this fight...

      Good payday for Salido if he losses he can go back to 126 and blame it on the weight and retain his title.

      Broner can cement himself as one of the true next superstars of the sport.

      And the fans would get a good fight IMO, maybe a similar fight to Salido vs Gamboa.

              He's not protected at all, his resume is actually pretty good for his level of experience. It's just that his title shot was kind of a setup (can't blame him, Burns didn't want it), and the one time he faced an experienced puncher he struggled despite the serious size advantage. Maybe it's the southpaw factor, and he's probably gotten better since.
