Yes true but If I am not mistaken more fights in the UFC end in Ko compared to fights in boxing. So I suggest going back to 15 round championship fights allowing the fighters more time to finish their opponent.

So don't expect it to get any better in boxing.

It can be a totally different fight from a different angle, and in any one fight strange things can happen because the sample size is small.

It is why body punches always ends up counting for less because those punches don't stick out near as much to all the judges as head snapping blows.

And there has always been poorly judges fights, this isn't something new, that is the risk with leaving fights up to the judges because you just never know what those dudes will do.

All I have to say is Dalby Shirley, he might still be alive possibly even judging fights but he is known for having crazy scorecards and that was for decades.

The thing about boxing judging is it subjective, so there will always be a certain level of differeing views any time a round is even sort of close no matter who you think won you need to realize someone may think different and the judges may all think different.

People talking about this stuff they come to a concensus, then it becomes mob rule and people just jump on. I have seen people say 8-4 is bullshit but 7-5 is fine, that is one round different so I can't feel people who think like that.

Knowing you better knock a guy out in his hometown is not some new thing~

I don't score fights anymore because it is dumb and pointless. There are issues in judging don't get me wrong, if one is to fix a fight they are the way to do it, I just don't find it any worse now.

The point of having the seperate is to get three completely different views on the fight, their views aren't really bad if you get used to it they just see a different fight than the TV audience.

There is no system that is perfect and I have yet to see any plan that makes me say wow we should change it to this. Sure you could change it but is that really going to make things better.

The people doing it, behind the scenes, are getting away with it. So of course judging, and corruption as a whole will increase.

All I can say is be expected to get robbed if you go into another fighters hometown(or country) with all hometown judges. Only way you can win is if you KO them and there is no hometown judge or Joe cortez to screw it up.

Go back to the old days. No judges, fight until one fighter is unable to continue.

Agreed, 15 round fights need to be brought back. More KOs, meaning less reliance on the judges.
