When Ricky came ringside to talk, the lads at BBC radio saw him close-up and apparently his cuts aren't very wide but are really deep and won't be healed up until atleast 6-8 months.

One of his cuts was a deep open cut.

But they mentioned him fighting Gatti in March.

Ricky didnt confirm it, it was just talk.

The cut on the left eye was REALLY BAD. Not torn up like Vitali, though opened up quite large. Not to mention a smaller one on the right eye. I also would not like to see Hatton-Gatti. I wanna see Cotto-Hatton more than anything.

I think Cotto stands a good chance at stopping him on cuts...watching the fight I never once saw an officail check the cuts out...

Maybe I was not paying enough attention?

I still would not advise my fighter to go to Endlgand to fight Ricky unless the money was ridiculous.

I would like to see my man JL Castillo vs. Ricky Hatton...I think it would be perfect for Castillo.

If the blood doesnt flow into the inside of the eye socket where it passes the nose then its not checked as regular.

Yeah. We should beat the drums for Castillo-Hatton. If you build it they will come. That'd be a great fight to have in the U.S. where Hatton will be equally warned. That'd be a great ****ing fight. I just came on myself.

Im a Joe Calzaghe fan and will be rooting for him against Lacy but I have to wonder if Lacy is cut that bad if the fight doctor wont be checking it every other minute...and if Lacy or a Hatton opponent is cut by a headbut what would the chances be that the headbut would be called a punch?

                    Just wondering.

IWATCH my man you know the last guy you want your boy playing chin checkers with is JL Castillo.

Havent we already seen both of our boys chins being checked?

JL Castillo's chin is as good as their is in the sport....how has Cotto's chin graded out? (I do like his ability to recover)
