Fighters that deserve a biopic?

Not so long ago The Fighter came out. It was pretty good, but I always wondered: Why Micky Ward? I though it was based on a book or something, but no. Someone just decided one day to make a movie about Ward. At first I was pretty sure that it was going to be about his trilogy with Gatti, the only reason he's famous, but thats not there either. The story in the movie here doesn't seem special enough to be make a movie.

So which fighters you think could have pretty good biopics about their life? I think Duran, Dempsey, Hopkins, or Frazier but the most interesting I think would be Alexis Arguello. Gentlemen fighter, national hero, joins rebel group, became a sucessful politician but ended in tragedy.

Why Micky wary?

Because he is white
noone will go see a movie about an c level black fighter or mexican fighter.
you'll never see a bio pick on emmanuel augustus or baldomir

I think a short film about Oscar De La Hoya winning the gold medal would be cool... A nice TV movie
