Should Juanma find a new trainer?

Firstly i aint one off those fans who suggests this if ive never heard of the trainer and the fighter loses.Fighters and trainers can build up important bonds letting the trainer know if there ever is something up but Juanmas defense is just amazingly sloppy. These two fights with Salido aint the first time Juanma's gotten tagged too many times plus he does not have the chin for it either Salido was hurting over and over last night. So could last night's loss propell Lopez too find a new trainer? And if so who would you like to see?

I think Nacho would be good but that wont happen so probably Felix Trinidad Sr. He needs someone who can built him back up because he has problems with everything, from the way he throws his punches to his defense.

      that won't help him, he's a puncher
punchers live by the gun and die by the gun
don't see Lopez changing his style, or being effective if he did
he's a give and take guy, and an equal guy like that will beat him
too easy to blame losses on trainers
sometimes they screw up, but don't think that's the case with Lopez

YEEEEES!! Of course he should! He's been almost the same JuanMa sin early in his career. He had a great potential but he never corrected his flaws, and that's mostly the corner's fault. He needs to jab a lot more, he need to get faster and have better defense. He always leaves his hand downs and chin up with every punch he throws, he doesn't move his head, he is a sitting target. This works against guys who can't punch or can't stand JuanMa's power. But when you fight the elite you have to correct these flaws. The same thing happend to Cotto, he was getting hit hard early in his career, but Cotto got better on defense and became a faster boxer whom established the best jab in boxing right now, JuanMa stayed the same boxer he was. Cotto did it with his uncle, when that didn't work out he moved on, JuanMa needs to do the same. Pedro Diaz would be a great trainer for JuanMa, he can teach him to box better (JuanMa has the skill to be a great boxer puncher) and have better defense. He's a great fit for JuanMa.

Trinidad Sr only had his son. He lived by his son power. When a good technical fighter came up, they lost. Trinidad Sr is not that good at all.

No trainer is going to change him. Nobody told him to become an arrogant prick. He deserves those beatings and he seems not to humbled down a bit.

A trainer can only make the best of what a fighter has, Juanma is a ****er.

It would be hard for any trainer to go in there and change a 28-year old fighter's mind-set and style, near impossible actually. All you can do is try and improve on his flaws, but Juanma has a lot of holes in his game and at his age and with his mind-set, I don't see much changing. A power guy who lacks speed and technique having the patience and drive to become a boxer first isn't likely.
