    Easy there.
Salido just has his number, but it's not like he got completely destroyed. Salido was knocked down once, had both eyes swollen and it was almost even on most peoples scorecards (not talking about the official ones, those were generous to Lopez) before Juanma got legitimately stopped, which proved Salido is simply the better fighter. But it was competitive, as was the first fight.

Juanma's defense is not up to par for elite opposition (I always said he'd lose to Gamboa, but damn, that fight could have been fun!) as he's been a bit too much in love with his power for at least the last few years, but he he is taking a lot of damage in his fights and will have a rather short career, on that you're right. But I don't think it is over yet or anytime soon, unless his next career choices are Gamboa and/or Mikey Garcia or a third Salido-fight.

Barrera lost twice to Junior Jones, He didnt need to retire because of it, He moved on, Juanma should do the same, and am sure now we would see him in fights that the fans want to see, Because Top rank arent going to protect him anymore.

People just wanna see Juanma get dropped one more time cuz it's entertaining lol. He's a KTFO waiting to happen because of his weak chin, his leaky defense, and his weak jab. Who honestly believes that this guy will have any more success at/near the top? He loses to the top guys at 126-135. It's a wrap. 4CornersKid said it best, Juanma is the new Vargas.

Wtf... you sound like you could've been one of the judges last night. Even when Salido got knocked down it could've been a 10-9 round for JML that's how BAD was getting destroyed. It was a COMPLETE domination.

An extended time off like the rest of the year but retirement is a bit early he'll never be anywhere near the top of a division again but he can still earn some good bank

Don't agree Salido has 11 losses should he retire?

Losses are not everything he can still have a great career!!

                Tough crowd.

Guys get knocked out 30 times and they keep boxing and they want people who lost twice to quit.

They never say journeymen that JuanMa beat on his way up should retire, why should he?

If he likes fighting he should carry on.

He can still win some big fights and make himself some good money, so he should stick around.

Keep him away from Salido and Gamboa and he's alright.

                    Wow ...

                    Juanma should retire???

So Salido .. a man with 11 losses in 52 fights, shouldn't retire, but Juanma, who clearly came in trying to win this fight the same way he lost it the last time ... should retire?

How long have you been a fan of boxing?

Juanma has 2 losses and you're calling for his retirement?

He may need a new trainer, but retirement after 2 losses in 33 fights?

You clearly are new to boxing. Maybe sports in general.

People were calling this man to be the next PR great, and he has been looking vulnerable in numerous fights. He isn't improving, and he seems to be too stubborn to realize that the reason why he's losing is because he isn't taking charge of his own performance. He needs a dramatic change, cuz whatever he's doing isn't working. His skill-set is limited, and he doesn't have the attributes to fight the way he wants to. KO's take something out of every fighter. If Juanma continues on this path, he will get permanently damaged.
