I'm assuming he won't retract his comments even after his head clears from the punishment. Usually, when an athlete makes a statement that terribly ******, they end up sticking by it even after time passes. I mean, what exactly could he say to make amends, anyway?

Sorry guys, my brain was ****ed up so bad from that ass whipping that I was no longer thinking clearly. Viva Puerto Rico!

Apart from the ******** bit, he should also retract his statement that he was winning the fight. WTF was that about? Winning?! Based on what criteria? The ability to look like a human pinata?

The ref was corrupt. He was warning Salido for everything he did, for the first few rounds Salido couldn't throw a body shot without a warning.

Meh, it's best to take a fighter's post fight interview with a grain of salt, especially in the case of a fight like this when the fighter in question has just gone through a war and been brutally knocked out. Their emotions are high and they're not thinking straight. If Juanma insists on saying it weeks, months after the fight (without any further light coming on this) then criticise him then. I'd give him a pass here.

He wasn't listening to the ref when he got up. What did he expect? He could have stayed down & gathered his thoughts just like Salido did.

Anyway hope my man guy Mikey is up next.

I'm Puerto Rican and I have to say Salido fought a great fight and yes Juanma was punch drunk probably has to retire at 28 years old.

The funny thing is Grey realized he was talking rubbish and gave him a chance to take it back but he didn't take it, so it will be even harder to retract now.
