It was supposed to be a joke but I think you missed it =X. Oh I knew the KO was coming all the way, it was exactly what I put down for my bet. KO late rounds. The outcome didn't surprise me but the action did .

He needs to retire along with those judges and Bob Arum !
Ya Juanma dio lo que iba a dar, que nunca fue el gran boxeador que Bob trato de vender al publico.

I didn't read through the whole thread but I have to give props to both guys first of all. Salido is a dog and knew he had to walk through hell t win. He backed up the more talented, heavier puncher and got him out of there. But I have to give Juanma mad props for his courage and his chin. He ate so many master blasters and night and kept fighting. It's a shame that no one in his corner recognized the major flaw in his game (defense) while he was dominating early in his career. I true talent who could have been one of the greats is headed to a real bad place (brain damage).

I hope Juan Ma hangs it up. He has been in some vicious wars in the last couple years. His machismo is going to keep him around. He's one of those guys that has so much cajones that he feels unless he can't make the 10 count that the fight shouldn't have been stopped.

His post fight press conference was unfortunate, bringing up a the ******** stuff was ridiculous. But he was coming off of a devastating knockout that more than likely has ended his status as a top tier guy. So I'll give him a break

He's done and needs to stop fighting to preserve his health. If you doubt that go watch his last six fights.

Juanma obviously needs more defense, but I think it's too late in the game for change that. Not to say he can't improve on it. I just think that his chin and his resilience have carried him through some wars but those traits alone are not enough to sustain success. He got clobbered in both fights! Have to give Salido his just due though. He is having a late career resurgence and I hope he is able to ride it out a little longer.

Amazing fight! Whatever stipulated in their contracts, they deserved more for that gutsy performance. I'm hoping Salido gets his mega-fights now. He's very deserving of it.

And just because the scoring didn't determine the outcome, why can't the local commission investigate the crooked scoring? Really, incredibly arrogant for the business en****** to get caught arranging a fix and not get called on it.

I don't speak Spanish but it seems JMM is exhibiting slurred speech from too much damage over the years. This was more of a downer than his delusional gambler-referee excuse.

very good fight last night..much better than the first imo. juanma needs to fight a few smaller fights to get his confidence back and try to improve his defense before he goes after another big title shot. i guess for salido he'll fight mikey garcia, which should be a good fight.
