They were both sloppy, but you are right. I prefer "boxing" not slugging and attrition. I've seen all kinds of bashers, crashers, wingers; etc. and all they do, apart from giving crowds momentary thrills, is get themselves beaten into eventual dementia.

For example I always liked watching Locche, Stevie Johnson, and Too Sharp,even Johnny Tapia. I liked Trinidad too but he could box well when he wanted to.

I didnt blink from Round #8 and onwards, that was jaw dropping ******ic pleasure that rarely happens in life!

This is why we as Boxing fans sit thru hours /days/months of horrible boring fights between feather fisters and countless robberies, because once in a while we get fights like this!

and you know what? It was well worth it! The underdog fighting against a stacked deck and whooping ass. Unreal!!!

I didn't see the fight but Props to Salido.Juanma fell into the same trap once again from what I heard.Even before this fight I had said Juanma should switch corners.

Too early for the referee to stop the fight. They had two more rounds therefore they could have done more agressions. I dont think the referee shouldnt stop the bout.

If the fight would have gone on, Juanma might have been seriously hurt, or killed. No need for a man to go through that for a fight. That is what the Ref is there for, to protect the fighters. Salido won every round except the 5th ( 10-8 ) IMO. The judges were trying to give the fight to Juanma, but Salido didn't let them. This was one of the best fights I've seen in a long time, but Salido won it clearly. I think that Juanma is such a competitor that he cannot see himself losing a fight on even terms, hence the bad ******** Ref. I don't hold it against him though, because, I think he deserves a break, on the fact that he has put his life in danger to give us fans entertainment in the Sweet Science. Juanma, and Salido should be proud of how they performed today. God Bless them!!!

Awesome fight. Im guessing Bob Arum is kicking himself for not cashing out on Lopez by putting him against Gamboa when they both were undefeated. Now Lopez has lost twice and Gamboa trying to leave him.

Juanma took some mean shots until Salido had enough and said it's OVER. I wonder what they said when the 5th was over I am sure lopez was talking smack for dropping salido but salido is a humble guy.

Salido isn't scared of anyone bring them on!
