Maybe its premature to say he's done but the guy just doesn't seem to take punches well and its only going to get worse after a beating like that. Plus at 28 his severely flawed defense imo is not fixable. Sure he can still beat a number of guys I'm sure, but I don't think on an elite level.

I understand maybe at an Elite lvl heck maybe he was never there but that's the problem with so called "boxing fans". A guy loses in a war and he's done and washed up. The guy will live to fight another day and who knows maybe will surprise us.Maybe its premature to say he's done but the guy just doesn't seem to take punches well and its only going to get worse after a beating like that. So, in the end it was Salido who pulls the trigger mightily in full view of Juanma's hometown supporters!
The KO wins totally erase any Hometown Decision should the fight ends without KO/TKO.
Let Salido fights Chris John to unify the Featherweight Division; or Gamboa!Comment

If Lopez moves up to 130 he will get destroyed. After what i saw tonight he is nothing more than a journeyman now just like Zab Judah. His fans and defenders can say whatever, he looks like a shot fighter to me.Comment

Are you kidding me Gamboa will do circles around Juanma!! not even close!! arum knew this and that's why he held the fight up!! only problem is he threw Salido at him and that was a two time big mistake!
one step further Gamboa dominated Salido in there fight...Comment

Juanma has early cotto-syndrome.
Cotto didn't know how clinch worth a damn for the majority of his career. I don't understand how these world class boxers have corners that don't teach one of the most important things in all of boxing.
Knowing how to hold when hurt, its so damn essential.Comment
