Peterson is going to lose.....again. But, if Khan wants to make a statement, he has to either knock Lamont out or win by a really wide margin. He can't struggle with him again, or else Khan loses credibility again.

Peterson can not keep up the pace of his plan B. He said he had 3 plans and plan B worked. However it was also helped by Khan who could not keep up his own pace.

Khan made a lot of mistakes that lead to Peterson looking good. Such as letting him uppercut and staying there still. The running gave an impression that he was losing, a long with the crowd. The crowd helps motivate you, but also it can affect the judges.

If khan settles his shots in certain rounds, in stead of try fast, fast, fast, he will save energy. He had some good shots that did buzz Peterson such as a nice upper cut.

Oh and khan won round 12, and 11 I recall. 12 being a draw obviously after deduction.

It wasn't like Peterson Plan B meant it was over for Khan.

Peterson best option is the body. Khan's best option is to settle his shots, aim for the body too. Both are good body punchers but Peterson is good on the inside and khan te outside.

Peterson is physically a beast, I made a thread a while back pre khan. I saw a video of him run and train and he works hard and can sprint I tell you. Khan isn't weak, but Peterson is stronger. Plus khan throws too many and gets tired fast, which doesn't help. Missing shots takes it out of you.

It will be a great fight.

I am a Khan fan and believe that boxers who did mistakes first fight, win the rematches.

Not saying both are Leonard and Duran, but Leonard corrected his mistakes. If Khan can keep side stepping and popping his jab to box, he should win. However he needs to realise power and not quantity is needed.

Oh and much love to Peterson too. The story of his, his passion and hard work, I respect. dC came out for him, which was great for boxing.

Peterson is a guy who I look at, even though he is fighting my fighter, and still wish him all the best.

Peterson got the decision with his plan B, he's gonna have a whole training camp to perfect that into being his plan A. On top of that is the added confidence that comes from already beating the guy.

Khan's not helping himself by focusing on the performances of the ref and judge. He seems to lost all sight of how his own performance contributed to the loss.

His in fighting was non-existent; if all an opponent has to do is to come in low to completely throw you off your game and have you looking to complain to an unresponsive referee instead of planting your feet and fighting then your not gonna be a champion for long.

I wouldn't be surprised if Peterson comes out on top again.

Next time around Khan can deal with Petersons pressure simply by pushing him off and creating space like he was doing successfully in the first fight until the robbing ref started taking points for it. It's a whole different ball game when you're allowed to use one key technique for dealing with a pressure fighter like that!
There's nothing technical about pushing your opponent off of you, it's more like a "trick", not a "technique". It's funny how you say Khan wasn't able to do "what he's trained to do," which shows how one-dimensional Roach truly is. A well-versed trainer would give his fighter multiple effective game-plans that would neutralize the opponent's advantages. Pushing isn't one of them, because it is considered illegal.

So, basically what you're saying is that Khan will win this time because he'll have a referee that will allow him to get away with his tricks. He can SURELY be proud of that, right? lol
