As a Proud Mexican I get fueled by the Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry but there's no reason we can't be civil about it. The reason why the rivalry is so compelling is because they're so evenly matched so argueing over which country is better is pointless. I will always root on my Mexican brotherin and respect the man across the ring from him and I would expect nothing less from Puerto Rican fight fans. We as Mexicans/Puerto Ricans make this sport great and let's never forget that.

I don't care if Dulorme is French anyway, he represents Puerto Rico so he is Puerto Rican. Just like Saul Alvarez is most likely of Irish and Spanish lineage but he openly Represents Mexico so he is Mexican.

Mexicans and Puerto Ricans are historic brothers, there is even a Mayan ball court in Puerto Rico, I forgot where I read this tho lol, but believe me, us Mexicans have engaged with the Arawak people that comprised the islands, we traded from central america to the caribbean all the way to modern day northeast usa.
