If Uchiyama really wants it I think that fight might have to happen in the US . If I'm not mistaken the JBC doesn't sanction any WBO or IBF fights.

Also, I can't believe people fault American fighters for not fighting in Japan....what the f**k??? Almost any non-American, as well as American, fighter will tell you that to make it in boxing you HAVE TO COME TO AMERICA. Even the Klitschko's fought in America at points in their careers. Senchenko, Proksa, Pirog, and others who don't, not a ton of exposure.

I think he should probably have a "tune up" fight in the US first so he can get a feel for the nerves maybe on FNF. Even tho the crowd probably won't be as big as if he was fighting Broner.
