hey leo, obviously you rate him below frazier and ali and forman, but im saying that you need to be specific, where it stands right now, where does vitali klitschko stand amongst all heavyweights in history. is he above marciano, lewis, tyson, holmes, joe louis, archie moore, ken norton, or anyone else? be specific please. where does he rank? top 50? top 20? top 5? or could he be the greatest ever? elaborate im interested.

I think Vitali is the greatest heavyweight fighter ever. I feel he would beat everyone. And I will tell you why. Because, Vitali is too big and too strong. All the heavyweights of the past are too small and too weak. They might have better boxing skills, but their skills would not help them against Vitali, they are still too small. Lennox Lewis is the only heavyweight that could possibly hurt Vitali. My post might create a lot of criticism, but I dont care.

All the critics say Vitali would lose against the great fighters. These are the same critics who thought Vitali would get knocked out and get outboxed throughout his career, but this never happened. Why? Because, Vitali is too big and too strong! His chin is too strong too. If all the great fighters of the past could fight Vitali, all the critics would be disappointed again and again!

Do not understimate size and power.

The same critics thought Mike Tyson would beat Lennox Lewis, but size and power crushed Mike Tyson. The "experts" now say a young Tyson would beat Lennox Lewis or Vitali, but size and power would still crush Tyson again and again, and all the other past heavyweights.

Rick ... "finest heavyweight around"? Possibly, but he was not a fine "Champ". His body caved-in after making one title defense! That doesn't make him the "finest" by any means.

              Rick didn't write the article.

He just links them for us. When you see a thread like this it could be a number of different writers.

I believe that part of the reason he's hated by many is the color of his skin, combined with his success at heavy, period. The heavyweight division has been dominated by black fighters for decades and it's been a joke among black Americans that whites can't jump, can't dance, can't fight, have no soul, etc., do you honestly think that every black fight fan would welcome the success of a white fighter with open arms? Now I'll admit that the other major reason he's hated is because of the hype that has surrounded the Klits for some time now. I'll also admit that while I do think he's hated partly because he's white, he also hasn't accomplished nearly enough to silence the loud mouthed critics. IMO, he's overated by some, underrated by others, but to simply brush the idea of racism aside and label it as absurd would be unfair IMO, whites aren't the only racists in the world, I don't care who disagrees.

Got it. Rick posts it, so he fairly takes the heat.

                      That's non sense.

He's posting links to articles on the front page so they'll get more reads because a lot of people here just come to the forum without reading the news on the main page.

He posts ALL KINDS of articles, with opposing views.

He's just linking articles. It's got nothing to do with his views or trying to shove them on us by posting the articles.
