I am saying it now. The 8th round he is going to put him to sleep.

I had a dream about this fight where in the 8th round Hopkins landed a HUGE uppercut that Taylor didn't see coming and it put him down hard. He got up, and was subsequently stopped.
This fight's tough to call IMO, but I'll go with the dream.
Funny that you mention the 8th as well.

Taylor clearly looked outfoxed, and confused in there first encounter.
I expect the 2nd fight to be not much different, but Taylor will be on the receiving end of a KO.
Bernard is the better counter-puncher, he gives angles, he fights at a slow pace when He needs to and brawls and picks up the pace when he feels its time.
While Taylor excels at the athleticism of boxing, I think he's going to fall short at the "sweet science".Comment

hmm
LOL...come on. Hopkins ain't gonna KO ****. The dude has average power, and his once great tenacity is now only present in minimal proportions compared to years past. His new running style started with Eastman, and is only going to get worse. Certainly it's not going to improve. There's only one reason why Hopkns would do that. He cannot keep up the pace he used to. If heincreases the pace to something like he did in olden years, he might get KO'd himself.Comment

You also said Mitchell had no chance of getting KO'd so I'm not buying it.Originally posted by Super_LightweightLOL...come on. Hopkins ain't gonna KO ****. I'm not going to beat around the bush about this fight. I've said what I've needed to say and that's that.Comment

Yes, and that's a totally different situation that has nothing to do with Hopkins-Taylor, who have already fought and Taylor was not KO'd, even when he had a concussion, which says a lot.You also said Mitchell had no chance of getting KO'd so I'm not buying it.

Sharmba I didn't know was stopped by smaller fighters like Stevie Johnston and even Levander Johnson before, so if I had known that I would've given Floyd the nod to stop Sharmba.Comment
