El boxeador boricua Juan Manuel López acudió hoy al pesaje oficial previo al combate contra el mexicano Orlando Salido este sábado en el Coliseo Roberto Clemente.

El evento comenzó a eso de la 1:30 p.m. en el salón Grand Opera del Hotel Verdanza en Isla Verde.

En el último prepesaje de la Comisión de Boxeo de Puerto Rico, el pasado 2 de marzo, Juanma López estuvo casi una libra por encima del peso requerido. El púgil debía marcar 132.6 libras y pesó 133.3.

Hoy, a un día de la pelea, Juanma debe pesar 126 libras debido a que mañana intentará reconquistar el título oficial de las 126 libras de la Organización Mundial de Boxeo.

La cartelera contará con un total de 11 combates, entre los que se destaca la cita semiestelar entre Miguel Angel García y Bernabé Concepción. Además, estarán activos los prospectos boricuas McWilliams y McJoe Arroyo, Camilo Pérez, José “Chelo” González, entre otros.
