Again, Berto has not been ruled out for June 23, I've just been told of the contingency in case he isn't... As for... #boxing

Hearing that Andre Berto may not be ready to go by June 23. I have a feeling that it could be a Victor Ortiz date vs TBA at Staples #boxing
No Alexander or Berto? I hope Berto comes through okay, but if not forget him. Question is who next? Especially for June.

JK for sure we don't need the kid to get ****d. I'm sure Ortiz is coming back very strong after he himself got ****d and owned so damn bad. Sad story we are not getting Ortiz/Berto 2 yet. I had the feeling Berto would take this one and set up the 3rd.

That sucks when a fighter has to put he's career on hold. If something happens to Berto again that's almost half the year without a fight in 2012.

He should have fought a tuneup opponent in place of Berto. Never understood why they don't do that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Andre Berto faked another injury 1 week before the fight. Move on Ortiz #****berto

Havent you figured out that's all he does? Going around calling every boxer he don't like a coward. I mean, I thought it was Ortiz the one who quit after a brutal beating?

Also, Ortiz might wanna get a quick fight between now and June cause if Berto recovers he's gonna whoop that ass all night. Better get that ring rust out Ortiz.

Maybe he means most Al Haymon advised fighters.

you guys know what would be a really sick fight??

Ortiz vs Kirkland !!! two southpaw ****ERS!! Ortiz could make 154 and both are with golden boy, but too bad kirkland already has a fight.

I like Kirkland but I think Ortiz would walk through him. I really don't trust his chin. Ortiz, all the bull aside is a pretty damn good fighter imo.

Maybe we can see Ortiz-Martinez at 154. I mean, what other option does he have... Canelo is booked at 154, Floyd is, Shane is, Cotto is..I mean if Rios is willing to move up quite a bit, I'd like to see ortiz and him fight... Hell, he better hope Berto shows up...Maybe Morales..that'd be nice.
