Former three division world champion Marco Antonio Barrera is currently visiting London. The Mexican star is a big name in the UK. Back in 2001, Barrera dominated Prince Naseem Hamed, who at the time was a huge favorite to win. The 38-year-old fighter is still upset with his 2009 technical decision loss to Amir Khan in Manchester back in March 2009. Inactive since 2010, Barrera would love to get Khan back in the ring.

I can agree with that, but the fact is that the fight should've been stopped shortly after the cut occurred. They conveniently stopped the fight after the fourth round! And that was extremely shady!!!

agreed, it was a serious enough cut to warrant stopping the fight, but as khan was up on points, they made barrera continue fighting with it, while now at an even bigger disadvantage so that it could be stopped after the 4th and khan gets the win.

Of course khan would have won no matter what given the age and size differences but it should have been a NC and was pushed to a decision for khans benefit.

Barrera is crying the fight that they had should have been ruled a no contest.But their is no need for a rematch. They really do need to add instant replay in boxing to see if the cut was caused by a punch or a headbutt.

Barrera is right. That fight should've been stopped after the headbutt. Khan was given a gift. A clean Barrera would've defeated him.
