There was a time during his star-crossed career when Zab Judah was among boxing’s brashest trash-talkers.

I used to hate Zab back in the day. I celebrated the day Kostza Tzyu shut his mouth.. just like Roy Jone's mouth was sweetly shut by Tarver.. anyways.. after that fight with Tzyu, Zab was never the same.. he turned into a warrior and has been in some good fights since but I think the years have taken the best of him already. Too bad he was an annoying loudmouth when he was younger but today I have some respect for him.

Zab was a good fighter, just couldn't beat the top guys in his era. Tszyu, Mayweather, Cotto, etc. He did win 6 titles in 2 weight classes, not a bad fighter. He was good back in his prime 2000-2006/2007.

I think Paris is going to beat him though, and than Paris can fight Joan Guzman for the vacant IBF title in the Late Summer/Early Fall. Khan-Peterson II winner will more than likely vacate those titles and move up to 147.

The big difference was that Zab was in his prime when he lost to Tszyu, Mayweather, Spinks, and Cotto. Jones was past his prime when he lost to Tarver. I'd say Roy's last prime fight was probably against Gonzalez or Kelly.
