Mosley has nothing to prove. Mosley did what he had to do 10+ years ago, some of us still remember how ferocious he was. I like both but I'll never root against Shane. Shsne was a special fighter and stylistically, this would have been in his favor... If he can let his hands go he'll win... But age has made him shy...A 60% of the old Shane beats Canelo, he doesn't have to be in his prime for this one... But we all know Floyd-Mora-Pac Shane will show up and be content to just be in a significant fight.

Damn, I knew Mosley had some hecklers after the May andPAC fights, but alot of this is just plain disrespectful. Now that's out of the way, I am the biggest Mosley fan here and I dont like his odds at winning this fight. I'd be one happy dude if somehow he pulls a W out for this fight, let alone a KO! Mosley can possibly drop Canelo but I'd be willing to bet that if he exchanges with Canelo, he is going to get hurt and forced to fight going backwards. Shane has been too gun shy in his last few fights and Canelo is a combination punching, pressure fighter. I also think Shane is seriously underrating Canelo's power too...should be a great fight overall.

I think canelo is good but he is so overhyped and idk why because he hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse yet ... Goldenboy making a huge mistake with this one in my opinion .. He's too young .. we've been watching this sport long enough to know when we're watching a fighter who can't let his shots go like he used to or "pull the trigger" as its called....Floyd shuts everybody down so nobody talked about it...but against Mora it was clear as day...he pushed Mora up against the ropes many times and just hugged him....normally Shane sets fire to dudes when he has them up on the ropes....against Manny, WE could see the openings from our living rooms so you know Shane must've saw them...but like I said, we KNOW when we're watching a fighter who can't "pull the trigger".....and we KNOW when we're watching a scared fighter...Haye was scared of Wlad....he was too young to not let his hands go....a sign of FEAR

Shane is at the end of the road....in this unforgiving sport, the beginnings aren't important as the endings and thats why I HOPE Shane can knock this young dude out and walk off like a "G"....Canelo is gonna be a huge star in the future regardless of the outcome.... so thats why it'll REAL sweet for Shane to give him his first "L"....at age 40, Shane's level of comp has not fallen like his skills has....he's faced a style that Manny NEVER has....he's fought dudes in their primes that Floyd NEVER has....he's knocked out dudes that NEVER been KO'd.....the man deserves a lil' more respect imo

The thing is that you gotta go with the odds on this one and the odds are not good for Shane. For me, his best chance is that he is fighting a young guy in which does not have the same experience as Shane does. Plus who has Canelo faced that is as good as Mosley?

Besides experience, Mosley's chances are not good.

Even KO is not in his favor in this one but anything is possible. Why? Mosley has done most of his KOs in the lighter divisions. The only KOs that Mosley has at 154 are against the ready to retire trying to make a comeback Vargas. The other one was against Mayorga and Mosley didn't look that good until the KO happened.

I seriously thought boxing fans were going to be outraged about GBP making this fight, but now that I read comments like these it makes me double think my stance - DO PEOPLE REALLY THINK MOSLEY IS GOING TO WIN? Not only win, but according to this guy, "wreck this kids world." At 154, not likely?
