Mayweather wasn't as big a draw when he fought Hatton as he is at this moment. Hatton was much more popular than Victor Ortiz yet the fight did less PPV business in the US by about 300K. I'm not sure what the split was but hatton made 6million pound from the uk ppv which was around 10 million dollars at the time. Hatton mayweather is the only fight in uk ppv history 2 do over a million buys. When hatton PAC was being made n PAC wanted more % he was told hatton would put the uk ppv money up also which floyd never got (the PAC hatton fight did around 400,000 buys)
