sure it would've been completely different

Tyson hurt himself and would have finished williams other wise i am convinced of it after watching the fight several times. Willams is not a bum but he is close.

          The statement:
IF williams says klitschko didnt beat him then williams didnt beat tyson
          is not true!?

And while you are at it please tell me the basic point of this thread and please outline the boundries to which point the "simple minded" people may discuss the great news of Williams making excuses, by saying he does not make excuses.

i saw the fight and it showed clearly how klitschko dominated williams. even if williams was a 100% healthy, i don't think he will beat vitali! vitali's reach made it harder for williams to connect. i don't know but there's something wrong with williams (is he undertrain?). is this his best weight? i mean, if he can move like tyson (i mean the tyson that became a champ) and connect those big right hand, then i think he's really got a chance to knock-down vitali. im not impressed really by the punching power of vitali and sure he could be knock-out. maybe rahman could knock him out or lewis (is he not making a comeback just to fight vitali?)

I disagree again... some fighters can operate at a higher level than their resume would attest... Junior Witter and Howard Eastman haven't had many breaks on their respective CVs, yet are clearly operating below their abilities.

I'm not claiming Danny's top rate, but all this "journeyman" and "bum" stuff you hear is way off. Incidentally, if you want to compare form, the same Kali Meehan that Rahman took four rounds to dispose of was TKOed by Danny in under a minute. Rahman hits hard but is not technically a great fighter.

Williams had kept this re-injury secret because he didn't want to appear to be making excuses for his disappointingly non-competitive challenge to Klitschko.
The former British & Commonwealth Champion is mortified at the thought of the boxing public interpreting this news as an excuse for losing so badly.
"I lost the fight," he said. "I don't blame anyone or anything for what happened other than I didn't do what I was supposed to. It is the hurt business, this sport, and you can't complain when you get hurt in there.

                = Williams is making excuses?!!!!?

Did Danny Williams fight with one arm? He looked just like That boxing dummy called B.O.B.(Body Opponent Bag) that doesn't have any arms and doesn't hit back! I think he was filled with cement in his lower half, not sand or water cause he wouldn't move.

beat one-legged Tyson, got over-confident, tried to pull another upset by facing Klitchko. but we all knew Danny Williams wasn't in the same league as Klitchko who's too big, too smart, too awkard.

I think that he should seriously consider beating the **** out of his corner. That was one of the worst corners I have seen in years. I could also trash him for his lack of fighting Vitaly but I am just tired. Give the man some credit. at least he actually fought Vitaly and was not like Toney who gets the shot and then misteriously gets injured
