DLH was one of the fighters that really got me into the sport of boxing. He was one of the most respected fighters then.

Today, he's a laughing stock. People will only fall for a trick once. Cry wolf a second time, even if it's real, people won't even care.

I really am holding out hope it's something else.

Is Oscar really this attention hungry? I wonder how he feels about the general consensus that the boxing industry is a little upset about this lame announcement that was suppose to shake it.

I guess if it isn't, then maybe he's just saying this as, "Hey, the announcement is I'm not coming back".
Leonard held a whole fake fight announcement party, rented a tux, invited hagler, then said he wouldn't box again. Can't really get that mad at ODH for this you know!

Wasn't a fan then, am now. I was hoping for a network deal. Boxing needs it in America to succeed.

A network deal would be sweet. Really need that which should put better fights on HBO/SHO. Honestly, other than Floyd/Manny and maybe floyd/cotto no other fights should be on ppv this year.

Maybe this has something to do with some 12 step program. I know that sounds weird, but those steps are all about admittance and acceptance, that kind of thing. I think anyway, don't know too much about it.
