Dave Coldwell of Coldwell Boxing today announced the signing of heavy hitting Heywood boxer Mark Thompson. Thompson has not fought since registering a unanimous decision over Kevin McIntyre in a British welterweight title eliminator back in January 2010. Thompson's sabbatical will end on April 14 when he takes a place on Coldwell's 'Big ****' promotion, which is headlined by Tony Bellew's British light-heavyweight title defence against Danny McIntosh.
